Residents of the Brady Street Neighborhood should mark their calendars for the city’s Clean and Green large item pickup program, which will be May 23 through May 27.
The city’s annual Clean and Green garbage pickup program allows residents to dispose of large items including furniture, mattresses, household items, up to two (2) cubic yards of tree trimmings and up to five (5) tires at their regular garbage collection point – either the curb or alley line. DPW crews will pick up excess, unwanted household items at no charge to the resident, during garbage pickup on the designated Clean and Green week.
PLEASE NOTE: The items will be collected on your regular/normal garbage collection day.
During the program, DPW will NOT pick up: Appliances, Electronics (such as TVs, computers, printers, scanners, tablets, etc.), Construction debris, Paint and paint thinner, motor oil, and other hazardous waste.
